Enfield eased to a comfortable 16-7 win over Penguin at Southgate Leisure Centre on Wednesday.
Having won three of their previous four London League games, Penguin arrived with confidence, but missing some key players.
In the opening quarter, Christian Pulido took just 30 seconds to find the net as his Enfield debut got off to an impressive start.
Andy Rolle then fired home from a man-up to double the lead as the hosts finished 2-1 ahead at the end of the first.
Enfield dominated possession in the second and a goal apiece from brothers Alex and Richard Waller extended the lead to 4-1.
Penguin responded with two quick goals, but Tony Matthews and Charlie Briers were both on target to make it 6-3 at the half.
In the third, the visitors began to tire and Enfield ran riot with six unanswered goals.
Pulido, Briers and R Waller all added their second of the night, while Rob Lucas slammed in two, and Rob Threadgold got on the scoresheet with a neat finish.
With Enfield 12-3 up going into the final quarter, Enfield strolled to victory thanks to two more goals from Pulido, Lucas completing his hat-trick and Threadgold adding his second.
The 16-7 win means Enfield stay top of London League Division 3, but Watford, with two games in hand, remain firm favourites for the title.
Enfield’s next game is in the Middlesex League against Polytechnic on Wednesday, 8 October, 9pm start at Clissold Pool.
