Enfield recorded a rare win against Penguin on Thursday night at Hillingdon. The 8-6 victory against the National League side was the perfect response following the defeat to Watford last week.
A slow start and poor passing by the visitors saw Penguin dominate the opening exchanges and Enfield were 3-1 behind at the first break.
Richard Waller, Alex Waller and Dax Cain led the fightback in the second and the scores were level at the half.
With no subs, Penguin began to tire in the third and Enfield took full advantage, finishing the quarter with a 7-6 lead.
Despite a Dax Cain missed penalty, Enfield extended their lead in the final quarter to record an unexpected 8-6 triumph.
Enfield’s next game is away at Blue Marlin on Wednesday, 4 June, at Elmbridge Leisure Centre, 9pm start.
