Rob Lucas was presented with the prestigious 2014 Enfield Water Polo Club Player of the Year Award on Friday at the team’s Annual Dinner in Southgate.

After performing exceptionally throughout the season, Rob’s standout efforts were acknowledged by his team-mates who voted unanimously for the former Portobello star to win the trophy.

In what was a successful promotion-winning year for Enfield, Rob led from the front as his goals helped the team secure a place in the London Water Polo League’s Division Two next season.

As well as outstanding performances in the water, Rob also plays a key role in coaching the club’s talented youngsters, some of whom have gone on to represent the county and Great Britain.
