At a recent GB training camp in Cardiff, Charlie impressed coaches Craig Figes and Colin Walsh and was named along with 15 other players who will now battle it out for a place in the final 13.
In Malta, the GB boys will face Germany, Switzerland, Malta and Latvia, with the top two teams qualifying for the Baku 2015 Games in Azerbaijan, which will be held in June.
The 16 players vying for a place in the final 13 are:

The top two teams from each group will join the eight (Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Russia, Spain & Azerbaijan as hosts) countries who have already qualified for the Baku 2015 Games.
Meanwhile, the GB u-17 girls team face qualifying games against the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal and France, as they also aim to reach Baku.
The team is captained by Izzy Dean, the daughter of former Enfield Water Polo legend Chris Dean.
