Enfield Water Polo Club’s funds have received a significant boost thanks to a generous charitable donation from Railway Pension Investments Limited (RPMI Railpen).

Each year, the company selects local groups, or sports teams, to support and last month asked their employees for nominations.

RPMI staff member and Enfield Water Polo player Rob Lucas put Enfield’s name in the hat and fortunately we were chosen to receive a cash sum.

“We’d like to thank RPMI for its very kind donation,” said Enfield Water Polo Club treasurer Andy Boorman. “The money will go towards water polo equipment, pool hire and will also help to keep the club running successfully.”
