The Rio 2016 Olympics Water Polo Test Event has taken place at the Aquatics Olympic Stadium in Rio De Janiero, Brazil.
It was the third test event held at the new venue in the Barra Olympic Park and saw four local junior sides from Rio help Games organisers fine tune preparations for this summer’s showpiece tournament.

At the Games, the men’s and women’s water polo tournaments are scheduled to take place from 6 to 20 August, with the group phases contested at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre, which is located on the northeast side of the Olympic Park, before the action shifts to the Aquatics Olympic Stadium for the knockout stages.
